Investment, Acquisition and Partnership Opportunities
An established, FCA authorised UK insurance comparison business, open to the right conversation with broker groups, insurers and investors.
MyMoneyComparison.com has been trading since 2013 and connects UK consumers and businesses with specialist brokers, with a deliberate focus on the hard-to-place risks that larger comparison sites tend to leave alone. We are owner operated, we are not owned by an insurer, and we are open minded about what the next stage looks like.

What is on the table
Three Conversations We Are Open To
We have not decided in advance which of these is the right one. If you can see a fit that is not on this list, that is worth an email too.
Investment
Growth capital into the existing business, on a structure we work out together. We have no fixed idea of what that looks like and no minimum in mind.
Acquisition
A full or partial purchase of the company, or of specific assets within it, where the fit with your existing operation is the reason it makes sense.
Partnership
Working together without any change of ownership, from enquiry supply and white label arrangements to putting your products in front of a specialist audience.
What the asset is
What You Would Actually Be Looking At
Everything below can be checked from the outside before you speak to us. The commercial detail sits behind a confidentiality agreement, not behind a claim.
An FCA authorisation
MyMoneyComparison.com Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority under reference 916241, as an insurance introducer. It is verifiable on the FCA Register.
A specialist product estate
Hundreds of product pages across motor, commercial vehicle, fleet, property, business, equestrian, leisure and lifestyle cover, including the non-standard risks that larger comparison sites tend to skip.
Search visibility in awkward niches
The range is built around hard-to-place risk rather than mainstream motor and home, which is where competition for attention is heaviest and margins are thinnest.
A working partner programme
A direct programme that already sends enquiries to partners, with a portal behind it, rather than something that would have to be built from nothing.
An operating platform
A live site, the quote journeys behind it, the supplier relationships, and the day to day processes that keep the whole thing running.
The brand and the domain
An exact-match domain in a category where names of that kind are rarely available, together with the trading history attached to it.
The public side of the range is listed on our products page, the company detail is on about us, and the existing partner programme is at become a partner.
Who this is for
Where the Fit Is Most Likely
Broker groups
A route to enquiries in the lines you already write, owned rather than bought in, and a presence in specialist segments you may not currently reach.
Insurers and MGAs
Distribution into specialist and non-standard risk, and a front end that speaks to customers your existing channels may not be putting in front of you.
Comparison and enquiry businesses
A complementary estate rather than a competing one, in categories that sit alongside mainstream comparison rather than fighting it head on.
Investors
An established, authorised business with an owner who is open to discussing structure, rather than an idea looking for its first round.
The thinking
Why This Might Be Worth Half an Hour of Your Time
Building a specialist comparison presence from nothing means building the authorisation, the content, the quote journeys and the search position, and then waiting for the last one. Acquiring one that already exists moves the waiting to the front of the process instead of the end.
Most comparison competition is concentrated in mainstream motor and home. The awkward end of the market, where the risk needs real underwriting thought, is quieter, and the enquiries that come out of it are usually worth more to the firm that can actually place them.
If your group already writes these risks, the gap is distribution rather than capability. An enquiry route that belongs to you behaves differently from one you rent, because you control what it does next.
And if none of that fits, the conversation can simply be a commercial one. We would rather hear an idea we have not thought of than publish a list of the ones we have.
How it works
What Happens After You Email
- 1
Send a line about who you are
An email to the address below with your organisation and roughly what you have in mind is enough to start. There is no form and no application to complete.
- 2
An introductory call
A short conversation to work out whether there is a fit worth pursuing, before either side spends real time on it.
- 3
Information under NDA
Anything commercially sensitive, including the numbers that are deliberately absent from this page, is shared once there is a mutual confidentiality agreement in place.
- 4
Structure the discussion
Investment, acquisition, partnership or something between them. The structure follows the fit rather than the other way round.
Questions
The Things People Ask First
Is MyMoneyComparison.com for sale?
We are open to the conversation. The business is trading normally and there is no process running, no deadline and no adviser appointed. If the right approach came along we would take it seriously, and if it did not we would carry on as we are.
Are you raising money?
Not in any formal sense. There is no round open and nothing is being marketed. If an investor saw a way to take the business further and wanted to discuss how that might work, we would be glad to talk.
Is this page an offer of shares?
No. It is an invitation to start a conversation, nothing more. No shares are being offered here, no return is described, and nothing on this page should be treated as a proposal.
Why are there no figures on this page?
Because a public page is the wrong place for them. Anything about trading, enquiry volume or revenue is shared under a confidentiality agreement, with the working behind it, so it can be checked properly rather than taken on trust.
What would you want from an investor rather than a buyer?
Usually something beyond the money. Distribution, underwriting relationships, or experience of scaling this kind of business is worth more to us than capital on its own.
Would you consider selling part of the business rather than all of it?
Yes. Individual assets, a stake, or a joint venture around a particular segment are all things we would look at. We have not fixed on one shape.
We only want the enquiry supply, not the company. Is that possible?
Yes, and that may be the simplest place to begin. A commercial arrangement can be running long before anyone discusses ownership, and it tends to tell both sides more than a spreadsheet does.
Do we have to be an insurance business to approach you?
No. Most of the useful conversations will probably come from within the sector, but an approach from outside it is welcome if you can see something we have not.
How is the business regulated?
MyMoneyComparison.com Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority under reference 916241, as an introducer. We do not sell insurance directly and we do not give financial advice. We are also registered with the Information Commissioner as a data controller, reference ZA460665.
Who would we actually be dealing with?
The owner. This is an owner-operated business, so an approach reaches the person who can make the decision rather than a corporate development function. That tends to make the early stages a good deal faster than they would otherwise be.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes, and we would expect to before anything substantive is shared in either direction. A mutual agreement is usually the quickest route, since both sides tend to be putting something on the table rather than only one of them.
How quickly do you reply?
Quickly. Email is read by the owner rather than routed through a support queue, which is the whole reason this page has its own address.
Get in touch
One Email, Straight to the Owner
Tell us who you are and roughly what you have in mind. A paragraph is plenty. Everything else follows from there.
Correspondence is treated as confidential. We will sign a mutual confidentiality agreement before anything substantive is exchanged in either direction.
